Research Assistant

 Simone Tonti graduated in Biomedical Engineering in 2012 and he is currently working as Research Assistant at the Dept. of Control and Computer Engineering at Polytechnic University of Turin.

His main research activity is biomedical image processing with the aim of developing new automated tools for Computer Assisted Diagnosis (CAD) and Surgery (CAS). He is involved in the design of image analysis tools for the clinical workflow steps such as segmentation, classification and pattern recognition, and he is experienced with several image modalities including immunohistochemistry, microscopy tissue imaging, Magnetic Resonance and Ultrasound imaging.
