 Sara Vinco is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Control and Computer Engineering (DAUIN) in Politecnico di Torino. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Verona (Italy) in 2013, with a thesis on reuse and integration of heterogeneous components for efficient embedded software generation. She joined the EDA group as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 2014.Her main research interests are energy efficient electronic design automation and techniques for simulation and validation of heterogeneous embedded systems. In this context, she collaborated in several national and international projects. Sara Vinco visited the University of Michigan in 2011 and the University of Southampton in 2013. She received the Best Paper Award at IEEE ECSI Forum on Design Languages in 2011.
