Alberto Macii is an Full Professor of Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. He holds a Laurea Degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.His research interests are in the design of electronic digital circuits and systems, with particular emphasis on low-power consumption aspects. In the field above he has authored around 180 scientific publications. He received the Best Paper Award for an article presented at ACM/IEEE GLS-VLSI-08.Currently, he is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design on Circuits and Systems and the Design Contest Co-Chair of the 2015 ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED).
