Research Assistant |
Gasser Ayad is a research and development assistant at the department of control and computer engineering of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He received a B. Sc. from University of Alexandria, Egypt at the department of computer science and automatic control in 2006 and a joint Master’s degree in embedded systems design from the University of Lugano and the Advanced Learning and Research Institute, Ticino, Switzerland in 2011. He worked for the international non-profit organization Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt as a systems management engineer for four years, and held the position at Politecnico di Torino for three years through which he collaborated at the developed a customizable runtime library for a next-generation multicore platform. He was also part of the EU project “AlpEnergy” where he developed a modeling and integration framework for renewable energy systems. He also provided official reviews for a number of conference publications.
