Research Assistant


 Maria Serena Ciaburri received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2015 and 2018, respectively. For her thesis, she joined the System Biology of Drug Resistance in Cancer laboratory in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Helsinki. Here, she focused on bioinformatics and she developed a pipeline for the identification of candidate chemotherapy-related lncRNAs in ovarian cancer patients.In October 2018, she joined the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino as a research assistant. She is currently involved on research projects on Industry 4.0, with a particular focus on additive manufacturing and machine learning.
