Francesco Barchi is Ph.D. Candidate at the Dept. of Control and Computer Engineering of Politecnico di Torino. He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. He has experience in multidisciplinary task with a collaboration with GAMUT s.r.l for the development of a MASW analysis software. During his M.Sc. thesis, he designed an optimized technique for partitioning and placement of SNN in the SpiNNaker neuromorphic platform.
His research interests focus on optimization problems and software develop for bioinformatics algorithms: MD, SNN and sequence alignment on heterogeneous platform from GPU to many-chip multi-core architecture. Publications |
