Research Assistant

 Novella Talà received the Masters’ Degree in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 2003. She is currently an Assistant Researcher with the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.For the period October 2003-March 2008, she worked for the building companies (B.S.B. Company, Limited Partnership; G.D.M. Holding, Limited Company; Engineering, Development and Consulting ASTER, Guarantee Company) as technical consultant. Novella Talà has collaborated academic and industrial institutions (ENEA and TELECOM) in national and european projects (ANNEX and BECA) since April 2008.

Her research activity area concerns: i) definition of requirements to develop and implement energy analysis methods in information platforms for energy consumption monitoring; ii) study and application of energy analysis methods to predict energy use in buildings; iii) development of energy benchmark models by means of statistical techniques; iv) study and application of energy certification procedures for buildings through benchmarking; v) study of methodologies for energy supply and management concerned all sectors related cities (transport, residential and commercial, industrial). Novella Talà is co-author of international conference papers and industrial internal reports.
