Ph.D. Candidate

 Million Abayneh Mengistu received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Arbminch University in Ethiopia.  He then worked as an enterprise Software Developer until he joined Politecnico di Torino for his Master’s degree in Embedded Systems (Electronic Engineering). Since November 2016 he joined the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino as a Research Assistant.His main research interest focuses on Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM); in finding innovative software infrastructure for the collection of electrical consumption data and its disaggregation by using machine learning methods.
