Postdoctoral Research Fellow


Alessandro Sassone received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy, in 2008 and 2011 respectively. In 2011 he received the M.S. degree in computer engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy, and the Diploma from Alta Scuola Politecnica, Italy.
In February 2015, he received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. Prior to that, he was a Research Assistant at the same institution from July to December 2011. He was also Visiting Ph.D. Student at the CEA-Leti in Grenoble, France, from August to December 2014.

His research interests include design automation of digital circuits and heterogeneous systems, with special focus on algorithms, methodologies and tools for low-power and variation-aware design.
